Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the scheduled appointment time will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled service total. No-shows and same day cancellations will be charged the full amount of the scheduled service. Complimentary services that are no-showed will result in a $100 fee, or cancelled within 72 hours, a $50 fee.
Please contact Ri at least 72 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Please note that this policy applies to all appointments, including first-time clients.
When booking with the butterfly studio,
you are consenting to the following:
Rickielee "Ri"/the butterfly studio, will not be held responsible for any damage that may happen to your hair/scalp while performing a chemical (colour, blonding) service.
You understand that hair may have past chemicals, build-up, resulting in hair being unpredictable at times. these chemicals and build-ups, may cause a negative chemical reaction on the hair. You understand it is your responsibility to be as accurate as possible with your hair history.
I will always strive for colouring services that keep the hairs integrity as priority, if you are wanting me to go against my judgment, it is at your own risk.
It is never a good idea to push your hair past its limit, to skip a session to get to the goal faster. If you are wanting me to push your hair past its limit, and I do not feel comfortable, I have the right to refuse the service. If I refuse a service for the sake of your hairs integrity, a $75 fee will be applied for holding the appointment. All hair services not paid for is theft and will prohibit any future appointments.
If I perform a colouring service, and its exactly what was asked, but you change your mind, you are still required to pay for the service. For example... if you're a brunette, who wanted to be a blonde, but now wants to go back to a brunette immediately after, you will have to come in for a separate hair service appointment.
Fix-ups are to be done in 5 days of service, anything past 5 days will require a separate appointment. If within the 5 days you go swimming, or discolouring happens not at the fault of the butterfly studio, you are required to book a separate hair service appointment to correct.
Hair services are non-refundable, and if any concerns arise, please contact Ri.
All hair extensions clients are required to have a consultation prior to an installation. A deposit of 50% of the cost of extensions is required to order the hair, and this cost is determined during the consultation. All orders are non-refundable. I do not install pre-bought hair.

You consent to maintaining and following the aftercare instructions, and understand the risks that come with not following these steps. You understand that hair extensions can be damaging to your natural hair, if they are not being maintained properly.
Hair fall, hair shed, occurs naturally and is expected. It is not caused by hair extensions.
However, large amounts, is not normal...and also very uncommon.
If you are experiencing this including tension, breakage, major slippage,
you are to contact Ri immediately.
I love kiddos, even have 2 myself. However, a hair studio is not the safest place for children. I ask you only to bring children if they are receiving a service.
